Raider Event: Regulations and Procedures Empty Raider Event: Regulations and Procedures

Post  Guest Thu May 02, 2013 11:21 pm

First of all, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication in making Wrath Reborn a top 50 alliance. That was not an easy task nor did it come easily. Each member has contributed, some small and some large, to the success that we are currently enjoying. With that said, this past raid event has shown some flaws and areas of improvement for the alliance.

So in order to establish equality and fair play for all the members of Wrath Reborn, raid regulations are being instituted hence forth. These regulations are a code of conduct for raids, a discipline system for all members, and most importantly a golden path to move this alliance into the upper echelon of Marvel War of Heroes. I want to stress that these regulations are being instituted because of recent suggestions from the majority of players. This is designed to spell out and document expectations for everyone during raid events.

First and foremost is the formation of the "mega deck". This deck consists of pooled cards from the alliance. As such, there has not been issues with pooling the cards and getting those cards back to the original owners without incident. So to continue the formation of the mega deck for raids, alliance members are encouraged to donate their raider cards towards the formation of the mega deck. Some members have gone above and beyond the call of duty to get UR raider cards. This past raid event was the best raider deck yet. Period. That was made possible by a handful of members that made trades and sacrificed quality cards to get those raider cards. It is not expected to trade off your deck to get a UR raider card. It is expected that when a member makes a move and gets a raider card that the entire alliance contributes to the maxing and mastering of that raider card. Between the alliance a card can be maxxed and mastered in under 20 minutes. This is not a difficult task and is not a costly one, but it will pay big dividends at the end of the raid.

Secondly, the sleeping with the deck (as obscene as that sounds) ENDS RIGHT NOW. We are all grown adults and can conduct ourselves accordingly. For example, if you are bombed drunk and want to raid, that's great! But if you feel like you may pass out at any moment, DO NOT RAID. Too many times during this last raid people fell asleep with the raid deck in their possession. If you are tired and think you may want to go to sleep, then get on LINE (Raider Room) and see who is active. Inform them via public Raider room chat that you are trading the raider deck to them. This allows for efficient movement and tracking of the community mega deck. And it is a community mega deck. It is designed to make top raid rewards easier to obtain for the entire alliance. The mega deck is a privilege folks and can be taken away.

Which leads me perfectly (nice segue Xray) to the discipline portion. These are disciplinary measures that are being instituted, from this point forward. This is something that gives me no pleasure to write, and is something that I hope will never be used. The following are the disciplinary actions that each alliance member commits themselves to when they accept the mega deck during a raid.

1. If you fall asleep with the deck in your possession, a raid-long ban from the mega deck will be instituted.
2. If you fall asleep with the deck in your possession a second time (during any subsequent raids since you wont be using the mega deck from your first raid violation in that raid) something bad will happen. This will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
3. If you, the alliance member, fails to contribute to the maxxing and mastering of raid cards the mega deck can and will be withheld from you.

This one is easy as pie. This is not asking for monetary donations or asking that you buy packs. Absolutely not. Please use rally packs or farm 2-4 for boosters. Anyone can master cards because we have a list, a bit outdated, of easy mastering targets.

This alliance is a great community of active players and respectful adults. Once again, these guidelines, regulations, and disciplinary measures were asked for by members of this alliance. This is by no means designed to create rifts in the alliance. I fully expect to never use the disciplinary portion, but it has to be written and posted so everyone is accountable to the alliance.

Lastly, I just want to put to rest any rumors of power pack penalties, fines, and power pack deposits to use the mega deck. The mega deck is designed to help everyone in the alliance achieve top tier rewards. The mega deck allows for alliance members to achieve the top raider reward and build a stronger deck. Those cards help everyone during the war events and who doesn't want that?

I Xtelo, leader of Wrath Reborn, approve this post. Only one thing to add. You will need to acknowledge, in your own words with a brief reply that you have read, understand, and will adhere to above stated regulations to participate with the megadeck. Great job with this write up Xray, thank you very much.
